Oil Cleansing




As I mentioned in the video, below is an introductory list which may help in solving some of your skincare concerns. Remember, you can't over do oil and it is more than ok to combine several into a custom blend to best suit your needs. Have fun!

Jojoba Oil-100% Pure Jojoba Oil is derived from the seed of the jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) shrub and is one of the most popular cosmetic oils available today. Its high stability, invigorating scent and cosmetic versatility make it idea for all skin and hair types, and it is most commonly used to promote softer hair and skin. Jojoba Oil contains many nutritional compounds, including long-chain essential fatty acids and fatty alcohols.

Olive Oil- Olive Oil is mild on the skin and won't strip skin of vital oils and moisture. Olive oil is high in antioxidants, including vitamin E. Antioxidants are nutritional powerhouses that protect against age-accelerating free radicals.

Primrose Oil- Primrose Oil is used in some shampoos and skin products since it has a decent concentration of omega 3's and essential fatty acids. Research has linked lack of essential fatty acids in your diet to psoriasis, eczema, and other skin conditions.

Avocado Oil- Avocado Oil is an all-natural, nutrient-rich vegetable oil that contains collagen-supporting amino acids and proteins, as well as vitamins A, D and E. Heavy in texture, Avocado Oil increases epidermal elasticity, while thoroughly moisturizing and softening stubborn, dry or cracked skin. When used as a massage oil, it's soft, soothing and leaves no greasy residue.

Sweet Almond Oil- Almond Oil is an all-natural oil that's perfect for nourishing and reviving any skin type. Almond Oil is easily absorbed and won't clog pores, promoting clear, soft, healthy skin. Flaxseed Oil-Flaxseed Oil is incredibly rich in the essential fatty acids known as Omega-3, (alpha linolenic acid), and Omega-6 (linoleic acid). I was wondering if you could suggest a few books on using essential oils. I was so impressed with how simple it was to make the Grapefruit lip balm. That I want to make more. We are going to try the dry shampoo to!!! Thanks so much!!!
